Flashback to Summer of 1994, the first cup of coffee was served at Alexander’s and to this day, baking still starts in the early hours of the morning. Alexander’s is still by far the best place on the island to stop for a beverage or light lunch where quality, service and value go hand-in-hand. An award winning coffee shop for service, baked goods and coffee. Try a bagel or baguette sandwich or choose a delicious Panini grilled to perfection. Their unique, fresh & hearty soup creations are sure to hit the proverbial “spot”. They also offer a great selection of Certified Organic, Fair Trade, Shade Grown and Bird Friendly freshly roasted whole bean coffee.

An important part of Alexander’s Coffee is the extensive outreach into the community through continuous support of local schools, community groups and charities. Alexander’s renowned ArtWall has been devoted to the local artists and more than a thousand pieces have been viewed and purchased from the signature terracotta wall since its inception in 1994. Another example is the “Community of Hearts” annual Art Auction fundraiser that has been extremely successful in raising thousands of dollars to help fund local community projects. Their commitment to the community is as important as their passion for coffee.
