There will be face painting, balloon art, music, bubbles and beautiful illuminated lanterns. Procession will be lead from the Beacon Bandshell along the waterfront walkway and end at the Sidney Fishing Pier.
Large illuminated lanterns inspired by the creatures of the Salish Sea will be installed on the pier until it gets dark. There will also be decorated paper bags created by children from the lantern making workshops that take place at Tulista art center and the Secoten Language Survival School that will be lining the fishing pier.
Everyone welcome to this free community based event. Bring a lantern, dress in costume and join the fun.
