Sidney Museum and Archives specializes in the history and growth of the Saanich Peninsula. The museum takes the visitor on a tour starting with the natural history of the area, followed by a display of First Nations and then the railways on the Saanich Peninsula. There are many more exhibits to enjoy and each month the museum hosts a temporary display featuring arts and crafts and local collections. The Archives are located at the rear of the Sidney Town Hall off Fourth Street and house a large collection of documents, local newspapers and photographs.
